Bhumi Pednekar Calls the Violence against Frontline Workers & Doctors in Truly Unacceptable
Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar is known for her straightforwardness & active participation in raising social issues. The actress has now taken to her social media accounts to condemn the violence against the doctors & frontline workers.
Doctors & frontline workers, who are engaged in supporting & treating other people in COVID-19 pandemic, are facing such incidents of physical assault & violence. Seeing these incidents, the actress tweeted, “Violence towards our doctors and frontline workers is completely unacceptable and quite appalling. Our medical sector has been working tirelessly over the last 14 months, the least we can do is show our support, gratitude & compassion towards them. #stopviolenceagainstdoctors”.
After launching her COVID Warrior initiative, the actress is extending her help to the needy people all across the world. She has also collaborated with comedian Kapil Sharma to support the people in Karnataka during these tough times.
On the professional front, the actress is waiting for her upcoming project ‘Badhaai Do’ co-starring Rajkummar Rao. Directed by Harshavardhan Kulkarni and produced by Junglee Pictures, the movie serves as a spiritual sequel to the 2018 film ‘Badhaai Ho’. The shooting of the film was wrapped up on 6 March 2021
