Chhichhore Wins the National Award for Best Film: Shraddha Kapoor Pens a Heartfelt Note of Thanks to the Team
The 67th National Film Award has finally been announced yesterday. Delayed by the pandemic and the subsequent lockdown, the event finally took place on Monday and winners were announced during a press conference in Delhi.
Kangana Ranaut was feted with the Best Actress for ‘Manikarnika’ and ‘Panga’ whereas the National Award for Best Actor was shared by Manoj Bajpayee for his performance in ‘Bhonsle’, and Dhanush for ‘Asuran’. The award for the Best Hindi Film has gone to Chhichhore.
After the awards were announced Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor penned a heartfelt note thanking the team of ‘Chhichhore’. The Ashiqui 2 actor congratulated the whole team & co-stars on achieving this accolade.
She took to her Twitter account and wrote, “”Thank you @niteshtiwari22 @nadiadwalagrandson for making me a part of this beautiful film. Many celebrity followers commented on her post. Talking about the producer of the film Sajid Nadiadwala, dedicating the award to Sushant he said “On the behalf of NGE I dedicate this extremely prestigious award to Sushant Singh Rajput. We can’t get over his loss ever but I sincerely pray that this award gives a little bit of happiness to his family and fans which includes me. And I am tremendously grateful to Nitesh Tiwari for giving us all this very special movie,” he said.
