
Rati Agnihotri Remembers And Calls Late Rajiv Kapoor An ‘Ever-Smiling Prankster’
Filmmaker and actor Rajiv Kapoor left earth on Tuesday due to a heart attack at a Mumbai hospital. Many Bollywood stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Prem Chopra, and Alia Bhatt more were spotted arriving at the last rites, others took to social media to convey condolences to the Kapoor family.
Talking about it, actress Rati Agnihotri shared the large screen memories with Rajiv in ‘Zalzala’ and ‘Zabardast’, who revealed about shooting with him during a recent interview with a news portal. Remembering the late actor’s style that told Rati of Shammi Kapoor, she told how crushed she was on hearing the news of his demise.
Rati also called Kapoor an ever-smiling prankster and post ‘Zabardast’ shooting memory and helmed by Nasir Hussain where Rajiv had got an “earful” from the director for throwing Rati in the pool jokingly in her film costume.
She said co-star Sunny Deol, Rajiv, and their co-producer were also those who wont to make spooky noises in the night to scare their film unit during their film shoot during a secluded house.
Meanwhile, Madhuri Dixit who was a neighborhood of Rajiv’s first directorial ‘Prem Granth’ tweeted, “I had the chance of working with #Rajiv Kapoor in the film PremGranth. it had been a difficult subject which he handled with great maturity though it had been his first film. Remembering the wonderful moments we shared. My heartfelt condolences to the Kapoor family. RIP.”
