
Shruti Haasan Is Playing Female Lead Role In Prabha’s Salaar
Salaar was launched in Hyderabad earlier this month amid tons of fanfare. The film will continue the floors soon.
On Shruti Haasan’s 35th birthday, production house Hombale Films revealed that the actor had been roped certain its upcoming film Saalar.
“We’re ecstatic to possess you onboard for #Salaar. I can’t wait to ascertain you sizzle on the screen (sic),” tweeted Hombale Films tweeted on Thursday.
Prabhas wished Shruti Haasan on his Facebook page- “Happiest Birthday, Shruti Haasan! Looking forward to working with you on #Salaar,”. Salaar will mark the maiden collaboration between Prabhas and Shruti.
Earlier this month, Saalar was launched in Hyderabad amid tons of fanfare. After Kannada crime drama KGF: Chapter 1, Prashanth Neel is written and directed Saalar.

Announced as an action drama, the producers say Salaar will show Prabhas during a never-seen-before avatar.
“This may be a very exciting film, and my character is extremely violent, so this is often something I haven’t done before. It’s a pan-Indian film, and that I can’t wait to get on the sets already,” Prabhas had said earlier.
Prashanth Neel is currently busy with the post-production work of KGF: Chapter 2, the sequel to the director’s 2018 crime period drama. The movie has been slated to release in cinemas this summer.
Meanwhile, Prabhas is shooting for director Radha Krishna Kumar’s romantic drama Radhe Shyam. After completing the film, he will join the sets of Salaar.
Shruti Haasan was last seen with Ravi Teja in Sankranti. Notwithstanding releasing the pandemic under the shadow, the movie became a box office hit within the Telugu states.
