Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's much anticipated film 'Brahmastra' has at last been released in theaters today. The positive reaction from fans and critics the same has increased the energy among the crowd. Tragically, the Ayan Mukerji directorial has been released online hours after it is released.
As per the recent reports, 'Brahmastra' is leaked on several web platforms like Tamilrockers, Movierulz, Filmyzilla, 123movies, Telegram, and torrent sites in HD. In spite of positive surveys and massive advance booking, this could influence the numbers.
As of late, Ranbir's 'Shamshera', Aamir Khan's 'Laal Singh Chaddha', Akshay Kumar's 'Raksha Bandhan' and a ton of different movies were leaked on such destinations. Recently, the Delhi High Court restrained as many as 18 websites from illegally streaming 'Brahmastra' after allowing a suit moved by Star India in relation with copyright infringement. The court said, "Litigants No. 1 to 18 and all others representing or on their behalf are restrained from in any manner hosting, streaming, retransmitting, showing, making accessible for review and downloading, providing access to and/or communicating to the public, displaying, uploading, modifying, publishing, updating and/or sharing on their websites through the Internet or any other platform, the film 'Brahmastra Part One: Shiva' and contents related thereto, so as to infringe the Plaintiff's copyright therein, till the next date of hearing."
Despite taking several measures, the film has purportedly been released on the web. The film also features Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna in key roles. It also features Shah Rukh Khan in a special appearance.
