Sara Ali Khan to star opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in 'Dream Girl 2

The makers of the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer‘Dream Girl’ are planning the sequel. While they have decided to retain the actor as their male lead, they are in search of their new female lead.

According to a news portal, amongst all the names that are doing the rounds for the role, Sara Ali Khan is the foremost choice for Raaj Shaandilyaa’s directorial venture. The makers are looking for a feisty young girl and Sara fits the character description perfectly.

They have already approached her for the project however, they are still in talks as the young diva is yet to give her nod. If Sara comes on board for the film, it will be Ayushmann and Sara's first collaboration. Earlier, there were talks that they were to come together for another project. However, things didn’t seem to have materialized owing to the pandemic-induced delays. Luckily, the industry is back in the order of business and this film is scheduled to go on floors later this year.
